The Canada Pension Plan (CPP) is a government-run retirement income program in Canada that provides a basic level of retirement income to eligible individuals. You access your CPP information with your My Service Canada Account on the Service Canada website.
Click here if you need Registration and Sign-In Instructions.
Once you are signed in to your account, you can access your CPP statement of contributions, which shows the amount of CPP contributions you have made throughout your working life, as well as an estimate of the retirement pension you may be entitled to receive.
Your CPP retirement pension amount will depend on various factors, such as your average earnings over your working life, the age at which you decide to start receiving your pension, and the number of years you have contributed to the CPP.
In addition to the retirement pension, the CPP also provides benefits for disability, survivorship, and children of contributors.
